Within a few hours the application of Vimeo for iOS has been updated and the new version have been introduced novelty especially with regard to the graphical interface. For those who do not know, Vimeo is a video social network site owned by IAC, launched in November 2004 and that, especially in recent times, is having great success.
The basic feature of Vimeo is that it does not allow the publication of commercial videos, games or any work that was not created solely by the user, in this way, the site stands as an international showcase for creative directors and allowing the ability to share and publish video on other sites and comment on them. You can also upload high-definition video, the first site of its kind to allow it.The name Vimeo is, in fact, the very meaning of the project is an anagram of movie , "movie" in English, and is the word video with me at the center, indicating that the video content for the users of the same service .The App Store has been published version 3.0 of the application, that with this update has been revamped especially from the point of view of the graphical interface. Among the new features are also possible to natively share videos on Twitter and Facebook:
- Navigate with ease using the new design based on cards;
- Use the new feed view to navigate quickly and easily between video;
- Share videos natively on Twitter and Facebook;
- Automatically share your videos on Twitter and Facebook after upload;
- Upload your videos in the background;
- Manage your Watch Later list.
For those interested, Vimeo is available for free on App Store and is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. Requires iOS 5.0 or later. This app is optimized for iPhone 5.
